April 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Edwardx. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Thank you for reaching out and letting me know about the edits to the patio article. I apologize for not providing a clear edit summary.
You're right, the information I removed wasn't directly relevant to the topic of home patios. I was focusing on creating content specifically for a potential Wikipedia page about "Garden Homes" and their connection to patios.
I understand that this wasn't helpful for the general patio article. I'll be sure to include a more accurate edit summary in the future, explaining my intentions and referencing my sandbox if I'm experimenting.
Would you like me to try creating a separate section on patios within the context of garden homes, or should I scrap that idea entirely? Arti2024 (talk) 10:14, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You completely hijacked an existing article, Garden Homes, about an American real estate company that has been around since 1954. You might want to consider starting Garden homes or Garden home instead, if you can find reliable sources. Be aware that that might well end up getting redirected to another article. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Deck (building). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Julietdeltalima (talk) 19:07, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
